AFTER AVENGERS: ENDGAME knocked Avatar off the pedestal of highest-grossing film of all time, the Marvel Cinematic Universe is planning an even greater expansion in the next instalment entitled Avengers: The Pre-Sequelling.
With Endgame having greatly swollen the ranks of superheroes who join forces with The Avengers to defeat their nemesis Thanos, the ambitious new film investigates the intricately overlapping web of timelines, realities and dimensions to bring to full fruition the thrilling multiverse that envelops the increasingly complex narrative.
Joining the formidable phalanx of characters assembled in Endgame are the cast of Sesame Street; Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles; The Expendables; Thunderbirds; The Powerpuff Girls; The Three Blind Mice; Rick & Morty; Dr Who and Spongebob Squarepants. Together with Thor, Black Widow, Iron Man, Hawkeye, Captain America, The Hulk and Black Panther, Spiderman, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy, the superheroes are forced to rely upon their combined abilities to travel backwards and forwards through time as well as navigate infinite parallel realities and quantum dimensions to collect the seventeen Cosmic Crumbs to defeat the Cookie Monster who plans to summon the power of the Dough Ray to tranform the entire universe into a delicious biscuit.
Avengers: The Pre-Sequelling directors Anthony and Joe Russo have revealed that the plot revolves around the discovery by Kermit that that in an alternate reality Miss Piggy is married to Spongebob Squarepants whose son, Porky Spongepig, is prophesied to bring an end to all Frogkind. A vengeful Kermit devises a photon drive flux kerfuffelator to warp the time-space continuum for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to murder Spongebob and Spongepig which unleashes the apocalypic rage of Miss Piggy who travels back in time to before the Three Blind Mice went blind and uses them to locate the Cosmic Crumbs that will ensure the dreaded Cookie Monster is awoken from his slumber to fulfil The Ancient Prophecy of Elderdoom that decrees the universe be an infinite biscuit.
Just as the Cookie Monster is about to devour all of creation, Buzz Lightyear arrives through a wormhole from an alternate parallel quasi-reality crypto-dimension to unleash the Reverberator of Righteousness which renders the Cookie Monster gluten intolerant and thus incapable of eating the cosmos. Together with Dr Emmet Brown, in a foreshadowing of next year’s highly anticipated Back to the Toy Story: The Infinite Future Past Pluperfect, Buzz Lightyear summons Cthulhu the Dread Cutter of the Cookieverse to restore balance and harmony to the Scriptosphere just moments before it descends into the Eternal Void of Disneydreamworkspixaralysis.
